Totally Fraudulent Vendor

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
It all started approximately 7-8 years ago when my Yahoo! E-mail account was hacked. Having the full version of Norton Internet Securities, I looked up a phone number identified as Yahoo! Customer Support on the web with a green check in the site advisor. I immediately called the phone number, thinking that I was chatting with Yahoo! Support, in regards to having trouble terminating my Yahoo! E-mail account since Yahoo! makes it nearly impossible to terminate your account, unlike G-Mail. In fact, I was so naïve at the time that I fell for one of the worst scams in history, courtesy of Albion Global Tech, which appears to be headquartered in India. From that moment, I was coerced into thinking that my computer was terminally infected and that my personal identity would be stolen if I did not give them remote access and pay approximately $300. In addition to being extremely naïve at the time, I made the biggest mistake of falling for the scam by giving them remote access to my computer and paying the prohibitively expensive fee, resulting in all my important e-mails and data being deleted, and only receiving a $75 credit and utter disrespect from customer service when I confronted them of their fraudulent scheme. Since then, they began making random calls from unknown and random phone numbers, including a private number on March 14, 2019 at 11:40AM. Despite my assertions with this company, they not only become blatantly rude and arrogant but also call me when I have told them in multiple statements to stop calling me. This is absurd, given the fact that I terminated at least two of their most recent calls. As a wise consumer who values consumer protection and despises fraud, I think Albion Global Tech needs to be accountable for their ruthless behavior towards consumers. A good start would be involving the FBI and Better Business Bureau. Furthermore, it would be more than fair if local government officials adopted stricter enforcements towards fraud, rather than ignoring complaints or labeling them as civil matters. Why should someone be prosecuted for academic fraud or welfare fraud if corporations can commit fraud towards millions of consumers without being held accountable? Although I support private corporations, I do not think it is wise for any government to allow loopholes for corporate accountability issues. I wish I had the audacity to tell Albion to go *** themselves, as they are a bunch of crooks who have an organized corporation but survive from scamming millions of innocent, gifted, and potentially smart Americans.

Albion Global ripoff

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Albion Global admits that they owe me $500, but refuses to pay up. They claim that they only send money via American Express cash cards. The last time they tried that, I got a phone call from American Express within 5 minutes, telling me that it was a scam that cost me $500! Every month or so since then I get a call from Albion telling me, out of the blue, that they've detected a problem with my computer. As my late mother used to say, I may be crazy but I'm not ***. Once burned, twice shy. And they still owe me that money, because I refuse to fall for the same ruse a second time.

Services are fradulent

I paid Albion Global Merchant $549.98 back on October 15, 2015 to protect my computer with regard to security and service. I recently called on them for some technological support and I was told that I needed to pay an additional $1,000.00 for the service requested. The technician suggested that if I couldn't pay for the service at that time I could pay in increments. The technician became angered with me when I told him that I would get a second opinion and hung up in my face. Since approximately one year has expired I am requesting 2/3rds refund of my initial payment of $549.98 which would total $366.64. Currently I am promised lifetime security with transferable service. My Customer ID# is James 27 Please help me recoup my money from these frauds. I do have a receipt of payment for October 20, 2014

No longer trust Albion Global

In the beginning of February of this year, I was on the internet when a strange message box appeared. Since I had previously been in contact with them and was not feeling comfortable about what action to take, I called their support center. The technician that returned my call seemed agitated – as though I had disturbed him. He remoted into my laptop and the very first thing he did, without asking me any questions, was click the OK button. I could have done that!!! Immediately, my anti-virus software went crazy displaying all kinds of messages. When I asked him about this he told me not to worry, that my anti-virus software would trap the virus and resolve it. He did not even ask, or know, what anti-virus software I am using. At this point he ended the remote session and ended the call. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!!! The next day when I turned on my laptop, I received several pop-up windows indicating my files had been encrypted and I needed to pay a given amount to unlock the files. The action of their technician infected my laptop with Ransomware. called my anti-virus software company and explained what had happened. They could not believe that some one who is supposed to be trusted to help resolve issues would be so blatantly careless. After working for several hours over the course of three days, we got the Ransomware removed and were able to recover the majority of the files that had been encrypted. Unfortunately, it cost me $90.00. But since I MUST have my laptop to be able to access my workplace to provide support, it was worth the price. I will never be contacting this scam of a company again.

Albion Global is a Scam

In 2012 I was having some problems with my Gmail account and mistakenly believed that I had contacted Google's technical support team. Unfortunately I had stumbled into the clutches of Albion Global. I was told that my computer had viruses and that they would install software that would fix my problem. However they did not name the software and provided no documentation. I was told that these were things I should not worry about. Fortunately I got my bank involved and received a refund for my $99. Then today (April 2015) I got a call from them asking whether I wanted to renew my annual contract. What contract? Apparently they were not aware that I was given a refund and were looking to bilk me out of some more money. They backed off very quickly when they realized I was on to them.

Harassment, constant phone calls claming non existent viruses

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I signed up for IT services/ virus protection. They claimed to fix non existent issues. I no longer have the original computer which was and XP operating system that computer was destroyed yet they are still calling me saying they are detecting problems with it and for an additional fee they can take care of it. It is in computer Heaven they are just a big SCAM. My advise is to hang up the phone if you ever get a call from them. They seem to do most of there service and calls from overseas but use USA area codes.(516-435-****,510-699-****,580-838-****,866-424-****) BEWARE!!!

Albion Global coerced us into paying $ 400

We were called, out of the blue, by someone claiming to be from a Microsoft building that 'saw' that our computers were 'hacked by Russian hackers', who were, according to them already siphoning our files and data out, and we were on the *** of identity theft. I saw nothing out of the ordinary, all banking files seemed normal, but their high-pitched frenzy made me nervous. So I gave them access to my computer, which they deftly used to show me all sorts of 'bad files', supposedly shown by Norton, 'proving' the hackers were active. They claimed to be able to clean it all up, if we paid $1250 for lifetime support. We declined that and hung up. Then my computer started to be uncontrollable, and I felt I had no choice to let them do something. This time they offered for me, as a senior citizen, a discount to $400, for 7 year support. I felt I was between a rock & a hard place and consented. The payment then was done to Albion Global, signed to Sangee Gupta (which set some alarm bells off for me). I noticed there was no little lock in the website bar and complained about that. But, I was told, I was now in a perfectly secure safe environment. After this they managed to get my computer functional again, but took their sweet time and I felt from the get-go that they were fraudulent. I am now trying to get my money back and all the complaints here make me more convinced and determined to do so.

I spoke with the good guys in India today and they are changing their name to separate from the bad guys.

This number will still lead to the good guys. They just are changing their name to separate from t he bad guys posing as them (or Albion or Global). The good guys' number is 1 91* 249_****. I have been with the good guys for over a year now. Somehow the bad guys got into their system and started calling people including me. I didn't know they were the bad guys at first until I was conned and called the good guys and found out how I could tell the difference. I need lots of computer help because computers are not a natural to me. The good guys help has been so valuable to me!! They help me with everything I need including connecting a new printer I couldn't get to work with my laptop. In addition, I travel to a second home in Pa and always seem to have problems connecting to my Wi-Fi connection there and they always help me. To me, the $350. I paid a year ago and have 2 more years to go on, has helped me enormously. I hope someone else can find the good help I have had and don't get connected to the scammers. This number will still reach them even though they have been forced to change their name and they will notify me when that happens. I had been scammed 3 times by those posing as Albion Global and got all my money refunded ($199.99 one time and twice $60.) by my credit card company. I know how convincing they can be. And, they always called me!!! Even showed me how I was being scammed when THEY were doing it. I have seen how it works.

They told me my computer was slow and that it was having problems, which it was, they then said they would fix it for 3 years for £150. For the past 2 years i have not used albion global or any of their equipment, I have just sent a message to them demanding a full refund, all of their phone numbers are busy or not picking up, their customer service is *** to say the least and their software couldn't find an Ebola victim in Africa it is that unreliable. They periodically call either wanting more money, or to waste my time spending hours scanning my computer when my antivirus can do that in a fraction of the time for a fraction of the cost.

I got my money back from the bad guys through my credit card company

A few days after I paid $60. for an anti virus , a message came up on my screen "illegal" . Yes, someone called me posing as Albion Global. Anyone who calls YOU is a bad guy. The real Albion Global people in India you must call ..either they help me right or else they call me back in a few minutes or as arranged. I have used the ones from India for over a year, paying $350. when they cleaned up a very hacked computer where I lost all my emails and had to set up a new address and password; any future help is included for 3 years for that $350. This was my first contact with Albion. They always use their Indian names and never call me unless I call them. I have since discovered there are those posing as Albion Global who are always selling something saying your computer is hacked etc. The way I know the bad guys is first they always call me. Secondly, they always have something that costs money and are convincing about something wrong with my computer, and thirdly, they use English names not their Indian names. (Charles, or Peter, Paul was used. Any of these numbers lead to the bad guys: 855 857-****; 866 078-****, 801 839-**** ; 392 261-****. The good guy number is 1 91* 249-**** or 888 988-**** which connects me to India help. I take notes on each call in my little pink book. Write down who helps me. This helped me a lot in figuring out that there are good guys and those posing as the same company who always call me. The only way I got money back from scam charges was through my credit company. The help I have gotten has been very valuable and plus I paid for 3 years. They will help me with ANYTHING I need with my computer or even hooking up a new printer. They get on my machine and I watch what they do and they sign off and we disconnect at the end.

Albion Global - Dishonest Tactics Review

This is nothing but a fraud company who employs deceitful tactics to trick innocent people put of their money. For those who are claiming they've spoken to the 'good guys' as apposed to the bad, wake up!! It's the same company. They've employed a tactic that causes you to call them by claiming there's impostors out there. They are one of the same people!!! For those who have used them, and are now suffering the regular barrage of calls, give em phone *** and DON'T GIVE THEM REMIND ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER. THEY WILL STEAL INFORMATION AND LOCK UP YOUR COMPUTER. Good luck all, and if anyone is going to put a posy together to go visit these crooks, save me, smith and wesson a seat - I'm in!!!

The bad guys call you. The real Albion Global never do; I call them.

Yes, there are scammers posing as Albion Global and I got my money back from my credit card company. But, there are the Real Albion Global people in India who have helped me enormously for over a year. (I am 75) They use their real Indian names (beware of those who use names like Peter, Charlie. The contact number for India is:1 91* 249-****. These are the good guys. Ask for Virenver. (may not be spelled right) Others pretend they are Albion Global and work out of the UK or even in Florida. They called me. I paid them $199.99 when I was convinced China had hacked my computer and it needed to be removed immediately. Posed as A.G. (I got my money back from credit card) It was the good guys who showed me how they 'do it' so you think China is hacking you right that minute. The good guys will help me with anything!! and I use them often to help with Picassa, connecting me to new printer, anything. They do not work around the clock like they used to; just during the USA day. They always call me back.

Misrepresentation alert

Satisfactory service from company for over a year with cleanup every six weeks or so. Calls sometimes don"t go through but call back with in a day. This happened several days ago and problems solved. three days later got call not claiming to be "Microsoft support" as is usually the case with bogus cold calls but claimed to be Albion. They claimed to have detected assault and were given access. Wished to perform operating system upgrade employing "green dot transfer" and this refused. Computer locked now requiring password. Demanded money. The REAL company fixed problem but files lost. They NEVER make cold calls. Never give access to unsolicited call. never use "Green Dot transfer" High risk for fraud per FTC
